Can I attend the World Championship Cheese Contest?

The Contest judging is open to the public for free on Monday, March 7 and Tuesday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sample a few cheeses while you watch the expert dairy judges from around the world evaluate over 2,900 cheeses!
On Wednesday evening, we host a ticketed event, Cheese Champion, to select the World Champion. Sample over 50 cheeses from around the world and cheese centered appetizers created by local celebrity chefs! Tickets are $25 and only sold in advance- get yours now! Cheese Champion is in the ballroom at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin. The doors open at 6:30p.m.

When do entries need to arrive by?

Entries need to arrive by February 26, 2016 to the WOW Logistics Warehouse.
If you used MyEntries to submit your products to the Contest, shipping tags are auto-filled with your product information in your account. Find the “Print Your Shipping Tags” button. If you submitted paper entries, click here for a shipping tag form.

 

Do I send our product with or without labels?

You may send your products in their original packaging, with or without labels.
Gold, silver and bronze winners will be displayed at the International Cheese Technology Expo.

 

If we won, how do we receive our awards?

The World Championship Cheese Contest hosts the awards banquet at the International Cheese Technology Expo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on April 14, 2016. Winners receive one ticket to the banquet for each gold, silver or bronze winning product.
Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association will send out an email to all winners with instructions on registration. WCMA will also ask if your company is attending the banquet, if you plan to not attend, we will ship your awards prior to the banquet.
