Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association issues call for Judges for the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest
Madison, Wis. – Experts in cheese judging are invited to express an interest in evaluating entries in the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest, set for March 16 - 18, 2010, at Monona Terrace Convention Center, Madison, Wisconsin. Judges will have the opportunity to examine and score cheeses and butters from the more than 2,000 entries expected in the contest.
“We are adding additional judges to the team to accommodate the sustained growth the Contest has seen in terms of entry numbers,” said John Umhoefer, Executive Director, Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA), which organizes the event.
Complete contest information will be available shortly on the new Contest website at www.worldchampioncheese.org. Entry forms and fees for the contest are due February 18, 2010.
